Die Aussteller der BIM World MUNICH decken alle Phasen des Bauprozesses ab – von der Planung, über den Bau bis hin zum Betrieb. Das Facility Management nimmt hierbei eine entscheidende Rolle im Lebenszyklus von Gebäuden und Infrastrukturen ein. Gerade im Bereich des Betreibens liegen große Herausforderungen, aber auch die größten Potentiale. Laut Statista wird sich das globale Marktvolumen für energieeffiziente Gebäude von 2020 bis 2030 mit 611 Milliarden Euro verdreifachen.1
Die Herausforderungen im Bereich des Betreibens von Gebäuden und Anlagen sind vielfältig und komplex. Die Einführung ESG-Ratings (Environmental, Social, Governance) ist zunächst mit zusätzlichen Kosten für Unternehmen verbunden. Hier steht v.a. im Vordergrund, die Mehrbelastung für Unternehmen zu minimieren und eine breit gefächerte schnelle Umsetzung zu realisieren. Die Taxonomie-Verordnung zur Bestimmung nachhaltiger Wirtschaftstätigkeiten verlangt außerdem, dass Unternehmen nachweisen müssen, inwieweit ihre Tätigkeiten nachhaltig sind. Ein weiteres wichtiges Thema ist der Net-Zero-Approach, bei welchem es um die Reduzierung des CO2-Ausstoßes von Gebäuden und Anlagen geht. Gerade im Bereich des Betreibens von Gebäuden liegen jedoch auch massive Einsparpotenziale nicht nur im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit, sondern auch in Bezug auf Zeit und Kosten. Laut einer aktuellen Studie des Fraunhofer Instituts können durch den Einsatz von digitalen Technologien im Facility Management bis zu 30 Prozent an Kosten, 50 Prozent an Bearbeitungszeit und 50 Prozent an CO2 Ausstoß eingespart werden2.

Long-term cooperation between CAFM RING e.V. gefma and BIM World MUNICH

The exhibitors at BIM World MUNICH cover all phases of the construction process – from planning and construction to operation. Facility management plays a decisive role in the life cycle of buildings and infrastructures. It is precisely in the area of operation that major challenges lie, but also the greatest potential. According to Statista, the global market volume for energy-efficient buildings will triple from 2020 to 2030 to 611 billion euros.
The challenges in operating buildings and facilities are many and complex. The introduction of ESG (environmental, social, governance) ratings initially involves additional costs for companies. The main focus here is to minimize the additional burden on companies and to realize a broad-based rapid implementation. According to a recent study by the Fraunhofer Institute, the use of digital technologies in facility management can save up to 30 percent in costs, 50 percent in processing time and 50 percent in CO2 emissions.
