8th BIM World MUNICH on 26 – 27 November 2024 in Munich

Since 2016, BIM World MUNICH has been the international event for the digitalization of the construction, real estate and facility management industries. The annual event in Munich consists of a 2-day international congress on eight stages and a trade fair with integrated open forums, as well as the BIM Town Innovation Area with pitch sessions and the presentation of the Smart Building Smart Construction Innovation World Cup® Awards. With over 8,000 key players in the industry, as well as numerous innovative start-ups and over 250 speakers, BIM World MUNICH brings the entire BIM ecosystem together and is THE meeting place for all industry players involved. MESSE MÜNCHEN / ICM – INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS CENTER MÜNCHEN

Traffic signs in the outskirt of town and throughout the entire city indicate the way to Messe München and to ICM – International Congress Center München

Depending on which navigation system you use, you’ll find Messe München along with ICM – International Congress Center München in the category “event centers” or “exhibition grounds”, or under the keyword “trade fair”.

Some navigation systems allow you to select between the center’s East, West, and North entrances. For the BIM World MUNICH you can select Entrance West.

The trade-fair grounds are located directly next to the freeway A94. Reach it by taking either the exit Feldkirchen-West (Exit Nr. 6) or München-Riem (Exit Nr. 5).

On the trade-fair grounds, a dynamic traffic control system regulates the flow of traffic. It directs you the free and closest parking spaces.

Directly below the central area of the Munich Airport, you’ll find the suburban train (SBahn) lines S1 and S8. Every 10 minutes a train departs for the city center. Depending on the route you choose, the ride takes between 45 and 60 minutes.

Tickets for the Munich transportation system can be purchased and paid for by credit card on arrival at Munich airport at:

  • the German Railway ticket Counter (DB) in the “Munich Airport Center” Level 03, Monday – Sunday, 07:30 am – 10:00 pm
  • the German Railway (DB) ticket machines in the “Munich Airport Center” Level 03, around the clock

Public transportation routes to and from the Messe München/ICM – International Congress Center München

Route with the S8, U5 and U2:

  • Take the S8 from the airport to the stop Ostbahnhof
  • Transfer to the U5 direction Neuperlach Süd and ride one station to the stop Innsbrucker Ring
  • From the same platform, transfer to the U2 direction Messestadt Ost and ride it to the exhibition grounds
  • Stops Messestadt West or Messestadt Ost

Transfers: two
Travel time: approx. 46 minutes

Route with the S8 and U2:

  • Take the S8 from the airport to the stop Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)
  • Transfer to the U2 direction Messestadt Ost and ride it to the exhibition grounds
