usBIM is a web based Technology providing SaaS modular architecture of services enabling BIM user-friendly operations for both small teams of collaborators and very big organizations. By the server-side technology usIFC.server recognized as “Technology Leadership Award 2019” by bSI, it boosts the ability to share one single versioned IFC model between different authoring tools updating and synchronizing automatically the 3D model. This core mechanism takes advantage of the IFC schema and semantic and creates a new layer to build up new advanced collaborative and distributive services. Thanks to the strong ability to process IFC data, the service can scale up remaining highly responsive. Specific modules provide IDS (Information Delivery Specification), bsDD (buildingSMART Data Dictionary) and BCF compliant services too. Editing and modifying the IFC model becomes possible directly by a simple browser interface for updating easily the open BIM model. This collaborative technology amplifies the advantage of digital open BIM information during coordination and planning activities (visualization/tracking/communication on versioned 2D/3D models and federations).
