BIM World is entering Central Europe!

Learn more about the Vice President of BIM World MUNICH.

The Vice Presidents of BIM World are spreading the BIM ecosystem to the neighbor countries of Germany. BIM won´t affect only Germany. Moreover, there is a lot to learn from the others.

To strengthen the BIM network and to foster the development of general BIM structures, is the goal of activities by the Vice Presidents of the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia.

Anssi Savisalo: “Scandinavian companies and public stakeholders already have a long record on introducing BIM based workflows in design, construction and asset management of the built environment. On behalf of BuildingSMART Finland, I’m happy to act as a bridge builder between Nordic countries and the German BIM scene.

Wolfgang Walcher: “With a computer graphics education and being professionally involved in 3D urban modelling and as-built modelling for almost two decades, I have been keenly following the rapid rise of BIM in the past years. Visiting the BIM World PARIS this Spring fully convinced me of the dynamics and importance of the BIM industry and I was delighted to be given the chance to play a small role in bringing the benefits of BIM technology to the countries in my area.

Leos Svoboda: “BIM as a universal concept has wide international impact and as I have experienced throughout my career, discussiing and sharing best practices across nations is the right way to make the most of any idea, concept or approach. Bringing together neighbouring states to BIM World Munich event could only accelerate not just BIM progress but also wider cooperation in Architecture, Engineering and Construction or Facility Management industries.
