For many years, numerous visitors and exhibitors from the neighboring country have already been represented in Munich. With internationally leading construction companies, planners, civil engineers and architects, Austria is an ideal partner for BIM World MUNICH. Especially in digitalization, modular construction, especially with wood, and infrastructure projects, the country takes a leading role in international comparison.
State representatives will officially open BIM World MUNICH on the morning of the first day and conclude the first day with a networking reception. Accompanied by the Austrian Chamber of Civil Engineers, the partnership with buildingSMART AUSTRIA will be communicated through all important channels.
The association will curate topics for the congress and exhibition visitors to present the best of its country. The topics will range from infrastructure projects, using the airport as an example, to hospital projects implemented in BIM throughout, the use of digital construction submission and approval processes in administration, and innovative forms of timber and modular construction.
Visitors can follow these and many other outstanding projects from the industry from November 28 – 29, 2023 at the ICM – International Congress Center Munich. The preliminary program will be published in August. Tickets are available now at www.bim-world.de/registration.

Österreich wird offizielles Partnerland der BIM World MUNICH 2023
Bereits seit vielen Jahren sind zahlreiche Besucher und Aussteller aus dem Nachbarland in München vertreten. Mit international führenden Bauunternehmen, Planern, Zivilingenieuren und Architekten ist Österreich ein idealer Partner der BIM World MUNICH. Gerade in der Digitalisierung, dem modularen Bauen, insbesondere mit Holz, und bei Infrastruktur Projekten nimmt das Land eine führende Rolle im internationalen Vergleich ein.
Landesvertreter werden offiziell die BIM World MUNICH am Morgen des ersten Tages eröffnen und mit einer Networking Reception den ersten Tag beschließen. Begleitet durch die Ziviltechnikerkammer wird die Partnerschaft mit buildingSMART AUSTRIA über alle wichtigen Kanäle kommuniziert.
Der Verband wird Themen für die Kongress- und Messebesucher kuratieren und so das Beste aus seinem Land präsentieren. Die Themenbereiche werden sich von Infrastruktur Projekten, am Beispiel Flughafen, über durchgängig in BIM realisierte Krankenhaus Projekte, dem Einsatz von digitalen Baueinreichungs- und Genehmigungsprozessen in der Verwaltung, bis hin zu innovativen Formen des Holz- und Modulbaus ziehen.
