BIM World MUNICH, the leading international trendsetting event for the construction, real estate, and facility management industry, took place for the seventh time on November 28 and 29, 2023. With over 7,800 visitors, 200 exhibitors, and 250 international expert presentations, the event was an incredible success.
On the first day of the event the BIM4Materials Congress, in cooperation with 4builders. focused on reducing the carbon footprint of building materials through standardized digital processes and data storage. A particular highlight on the second day was the focus on BIM4FM, with the central theme of “Sustainable and efficient operation”, which was very well received by experts. In cooperation with CAFM Ring e.V. and gefma, the BIM4FM Congress specifically presented the operational aspects and in the expert panel BIM4TGA, organized with the working group BIM Building Automation and Electrical Engineering in the VDMA, highlighted the advantages of BIM in the entire building technology sector.
