New release of BIMcollab ZOOM!
With the newly released version of BIMcollab ZOOM, the bar is raised for tools that can check and validate models. Through integration with BIMcollab Cloud, one of world’s most popular BIM issue management platforms, brand new solutions to common challenges are possible. From running automated nightly checks, to well documented issues throughout the project. In combination with BIMcollab Cloud, BIMcollab ZOOM provides traceability for all clashes assigned to issues.
Smart Issues
No longer do you have to compare checking results manually, and spend hours comparing model revisions to previous solved issues; the innovative Smart Issues can re-check and update
themselves with every new model revision. Smart Issues also prevent teams from duplicate reporting of clashes, saving projects from all those frustrating redundant tasks.
Lists
Additionally, users can create and manage rule-based Lists for data insights and quantity needs. These Lists generate key data from the federated model, which can be shared effortlessly with project members via BIMcollab Cloud. Or even in Power BI dashboards.
ZOOM Nightshift
ZOOM Nightshift can perform scripted automated tasks and automates issue management even further. It builds on BIMcollab’s Smart Issues which already reduce the time spent on clash management. By running Nightshift – for example before your day starts – ZOOM will check new model versions and update Smart Issues in the cloud so your clash overview is up-to-date when you return to work in the morning! Nightshift can also automatically update Lists and publish them to BIMcollab Cloud for sharing or even for updating your Power BI reports.
SpaceMouse integration
On request by many of our users, BIMcollab ZOOM now supports 3Dconnexions SpaceMouse. This 3D mouse provides users with multiple navigation modes as well as personalized quick commands. Contributing to an even faster and smoother ZOOM experience.
Undo/Redo
With the new Undo/Redo function in ZOOM you can go back every step you take in the 3D view. From camera movements to clipping planes to coloring and much more. This will make your daily work a lot easier.
