The Innovation World Cup® Series returned to BIM World MUNICH 2019, the leading fair in the DACH regions for smart construction, real estate and urban planning. This year, 40 finalists selected from more than 230 international submissions disrupted the Innovation Stage with their cutting-edge solutions. The jury took a spectacular mission to live evaluate the pitches and determined who best transformed the buildings of the future.
Here are the TOP 5 players of the SMART BUILDING/SMART CONSTRUCTION INNOVATION WORLD CUP® 2019 AWARD (in alphabetical order):
BIMspot: BIMspot enables every stakeholder to work on a single building information model (BIM) with their choice of software in real-time.
Building Radar: Building Radar is a digital sales assistant that receives new construction leads every day. It helps to increase business revenue in the construction industry with real-time data.
Dabbel: DABBEL is an AI self-managed system that turns buildings into healthy and green environments.
HoloBuilder: HoloBuilder assists builders and engineers to create immersive progress views of construction sites.
pbb: BIM Designer – A BIM server from design to operation, serves as a pivotal cloud-based data platform for projects.
In the second round, the TOP 5 players pitched live on the Congress Stage 1 in front of the jury, potential investors, business partners and members of the press. Upon a heated jury discussion, BIMspot was officially announced as the winner of the SMART BUILDING / SMART CONSTRUCTION INNOVATION WORLD CUP® 2019 AWARD.
BIMspot is a Vienna-based start-up founded in 2018 by Christoph Degendorfer and Clemens Degendorfer. BIMSPOT enables stakeholders to work on a single building information model (BIM) with their choice of software in real-time. It allows a lifecycle orientated collaboration with unmatched quality and transparency in the planning, building and real estate industry.
